The Big Four Artwork

Hi Guys !!

Welcome to my very first art post of this very New Year of 2013.

As most of you guys know about The Big Four Bands of Thrash Metal. They have rocked the whole world for 30 years and still running wild. Plus, they are one of my Favorite Bands of all time, which makes me to dedicate my piece of art as a fan tribute for all the experiences in my life.

This post was supposed to be pressed on the last Sunday of 2012. Actually, I’ve skipped last week completely due to busy participation in the movement of Justice in Delhi Gangrape Case. But anyways, I’m resuming my work schedule again from the beginning of this auspicious new year.

Well, You all have witnessed all my previous artworks based on the above mentioned theme. I have already made the logos of these amazing Thrash Metal bands. Now as I’ve promised to y’all since the beginning of December 2012, it’s time to showcase the big one. Really, A Big One !! 🙂

To being with, I’ve simply made the official logo of “The Big 4” with HB pencil on an A4 Sheet and cut it out in a Guitar Pick shape. Take a look around fellas. 😉

Kinda simple, isn’t it huh ? 😛 But there is the final surprise below, collaborated with earlier artworks and therefore,  compiling into a Metal Thrashing Masterpiece. \m/

I can’t assure the exact time of my upcoming blog posts. But I can assure y’all an extreme dose of excitement and delight after watching them, like you’re probably having right now.

  2. This is a list of bands that have played thrash metal at some point during their career. This list, however, also includes certain bands belonging to the first wave of black metal . These bands essentially played thrash metal with a heavy emphasis on Satanic and occult themes in lyrics as well as imagery.

  3. Metallica and Slayer , pioneers of the heavy metal subgenre thrash metal , were influenced by a number of hardcore bands. Metallica’s cover album Garage Inc. included covers of two Discharge and three Misfits songs, while Slayer’s cover album Undisputed Attitude consisted of covers of predominately hardcore punk bands. Younger groups such as Sepultura also began to incorporate hardcore punk influences, resulting in a leaner and more direct sound. In turn, hardcore bands such as Corrosion of Conformity , Suicidal Tendencies , and Dirty Rotten Imbeciles , started to incorporate thrash metal into their own music to create a style that DRI coined as crossover thrash .

  4. Thrash Metal is one of the main subdivisions of metal music. It can take many different forms and there are many thin lines between thrash metal and other types of metal (like heavy or death metal) or other types of music (punk or hardcore). Try to know the genre as much as possible before defining your style.

  5. What makes them different, is their theme, on that basis they have different style of lyrics and music tunes compared with Metallica and Megadeth. In simpler words, Megadeth and Metallica songs are based on War-Based Theme, while Anthrax songs are based on some kinda Madness-Based theme. They sound a bit different when it comes to guitar solo. But in the end, it’s all thrash metal.

  8. It’s been fun seeing the progression of “The Big 4” poster through its completion. I like the cleverly designed border that you designed too. May 2013 be filled with love, joy and peace.
