Breaking the Silence

It has been very very long time since I’ve blogged something. Things really have changed over here. I mean.. The user-interface is entirely different which it used to be 6 years ago when I started. It’s now more easier and understandable even a toddler can post something within few minutes. Change is good. And why not change? To make ourselves productive in our busy lives.

Speaking of busy life… After graduating from college, I’m now just another workaholic tech startup guy coding for 10-12 hours every weekday. And during weekends? Well.. Either I’m doing some courses/solo projects or hanging outside with friends/family or just simply taking a long nap. And Maybe sometimes dealing with those pending office works to meet the deadlines. That’s how job makes you feel and do things like that. It’s stressing but you’ll make it as a lifestyle anyway. And due to this, I’ve skipped blogging and some of my other hobbies for a while. So there is time-constraint, lack of motivation and therefore procrastination while writing a blog post or doing some other stuffs.

I’ve plenty of ideas hovering on the top of my head about blog post. But the problem is I need some extra time to manage my profession and passion. All I wish that I could have some extra time like – more than 24 hours a day or more than 7 days a week. I literally need that “Hyperbolic Time Chamber” at any cost. Just kidding 😛

But after watching some of my fellow bloggers, I’m getting inspired these days. They’re still somehow managing to do both (passion and profession) and eventually have progressed so much over the years of my break from blogging. Feeling bit jealous.. but feeling motivated too. It’s really amazing to see.

In short.. After almost 2 years of hiatus, I’ll resume blogging and other stuffs which I’m passionate about soon. I know it won’t be that easy it used to be during my college days. But still the risk is worth taking and I’ll be able to manage somehow. I’ve already planned something for my future posts here or any other domain. Let’s hope for the best.

And thanks guys for the support and appreciation over the years. I know some of you have higher expectations from me judging from my earlier posts. I promise that I’ll be coming back for blogging.. not much often, but active enough.

Stay updated because the best is yet to come. 😉

Oh wait! I forgot something…. Happy New Year 2016 🙂

P.S. This might sound like some “New Year Resolution” or that “New Year, New Me” troll now. Well, I had to let some things out of my chest and coincidentally I’m writing this at the beginning of this year.

Welcome To My World

My Creative World

My Brand New Addiction

It’s been almost a month since I’ve blogged last time about my ending college days and shared my artwork about the life of an engineering guy. Well, College days are gone and its Office days has just started. New Life, New Stories and some kind of New Adventures. Besides, I’ve got a new Addiction apart from my hovering obsessions with Art, Programming, Heavy Metal Music, Action Movies, Computer Games and my other cynosure since childhood.

Well since I’m now a Software Engineer at Healthkart.com, there is lot of techie stuffs going through my head like – Learning many scripting and web-designing languages, Designing Algorithms, Getting familiar with new IDEs and most importantly, Understanding the working of an E-Commerce Company.  Being a fresher, there is so much to learn in so lesser time. But still, I am getting with it.

As a matter of fact, I’ve got a stress buster – A Cup of Coffee, which has eventually became my Brand New Addiction these days. I’ve even sketched this little addiction on a tissue paper. First of all, I had to use pencil to test the softness of the tissue. Then, I outlined it with blue ballpoint pen even with more precaution. It seemed like I was involved in some kinda Testing and Debugging thing. 😛

However after few hours of hard work, dedication and a lot of patience, here’s the final look.

So therefore, this is my new life equation

Coding + Coffee + Confusion = My New Corporate Life

Plus, it has been an amazing monthly experience so far in my office. I’ll tell you the complete story some another day. Also, There are plenty of artworks made during my college days, which have not been posted here yet. I will post them as soon as possible. So Fellas !! Stay Connected. Stay Updated.

Hopefully, y’all have like this piece of work and don’t forget to post you reviews.

The Life of an Engineering Dude

I would like to let you all know that I’ve become an Engineering Graduate in IT Major. Finally, all those hard working days of curricular and extra-curricular assignments during these 4 years have come to an end. Just Feeling Emotional these days.

Anyways, these college days had brought back the artist in me which was lost in the darkness for a while. You have already got me through my plenty of artworks done during this timeline. Well, a big thanks to those boring lectures, free classrooms, college fests and all those appreciation and criticisms by people. They were the major influence for my motivation and inspiration to imagine bigger and progress higher.

As a matter of fact, I would like to share my artwork with you all right now. This is a simple cartoon sketch based on the major stereotypes I’ve seen so far in my college. I’ve pencil sketched a cool engineering dude (resembles mostly with me) with multiple hands holding various things defining a particular stereotype (resembles like any Indian Goddess). Moreover, the stereotypes have been written with that good ole and the obvious Graffiti Style Tags.

So, this is how it looks like when all the stereotypes come in a single master piece.

The Engineering Dude

Actually, this proposed idea was sketched for our class official T-shirt as a memento. Many people liked the artwork, but were unsure about its final appearance in a shirt. Unfortunately, this idea was dropped due to lack of response and interest in participation from the class. However, I discovered another idea (with the some help of some of my classmates) which finally became the official shirt of our class. I’ll tell you the complete story some another day.

PS:- There are plenty of artworks made during my college days, which have not been posted here yet. I will post them as soon as possible. So Fellas !! Stay Connected. Stay Updated.

Hopefully, y’all have like this piece of work and don’t forget to post you reviews.

Besides, I will be joining my new Office, Healthkart.com as the designation of Software Engineer from tomorrow onward. Yet another new adventures. Yet another new story.

Let the new life begins.

In My City

Heyy Guys !!

I’m back again with my artwork. I wanna tell y’all something. Few days ago, I’ve seen a music video calledIn My City by model-turn-actress-turn-singer Priyanka Chopra featuring Black Eyed Peas‘ singer Will.i.Am. In my opinion, the music is really terrible just because it is modern commercial sellout, that same old shitty work with autotune vocals and party beats. Moreover, its music video is even more terrible, with worst choreography and background scene. The annoying part of this video is that she bragged a lot of things about her partying life in her city (which was supposed to be her home town – Bareilly or working town- Mumbai, but the whole video shoot happened to appear somewhere in Los Angeles). Facepalm.

Just like Ashley Tisdale, she is also nice actress (won’t say the best actress ever :P), but not really a good singer. Moreover, she sold herself out with this annoying song without even showing her real roots. But hardly this commercial Entertainment Industry and the butthurt Priyanka Chopra Fan base (I prefer calling such people as Fantards 😛) gonna understand the fact.

The main agenda of above mentioned story is to show how people get away from their roots and pretend to be someone else, just to impress the modern crowd. I could go on more with other examples, but would tell that some other day.

Anyways coming back to my art topic. After getting pissed with that annoying and delusional music video, I’ve checked down my art archives searching relevant to my roots in my city – Delhi.

Well !! The artwork which I’m going to showcase, I’ve made quite a year while practicing for my very 1st Graffiti Battle in Hip-Hop Jam. I’ve made the cartoon sketches of various attractions of Delhi – Red Fort, Lots Temple, Jantar Mantar, Qutab Minar, India Gate and Delhi Metro, in the background and a graffiti guy (actually me :P) spraying a Graffiti art “Delhi” on the wall, in the foreground with the help blue ball-point pen.

Now since y’all know about my passion and obsession with Graffiti and my residence in Delhi.
So then fellas, take a look on the artwork.

My City Delhi

Well !! This is my City and these are my roots. I love keeping them real, unlike pretending like any crazy Bollywood Actress posing to be a professional singer.

ROOTS !! BLOODY ROOTS !!

Hopefully, y’all have like this piece of work and don’t forget to post you reviews.

The Iron “Dishoom” Fist

Heyy Guys !!

This past Week our College celebrated The Annual Inter-College Cultural Festival called “Moksha” with Bollywood Theme, dedicating a tribute to 100 Years of Indian Cinema.

Besides, I have decided to give a little tribute to this Bollywood Achievement in my blog. To get started with, I have simply drawn a pencil cartoon sketching of a Right Hand Fist punching out from the paper with Dishoom (Typical Bollywood) sound. 😛

Take a look on the artwork, fellas.

The Iron Dishoom Fist

The Iron Dishoom Fist

Although I am not Crazy Bollywood Fan (especially these days), but I really like some cliches and stereotypes which makes the movie funny and entertaining. Still there are many classic and cult Bollywood Movies which I would like to watch many times. The List is too long, I won’t bore you.

Overall in a nutshell, It’s all about

Entertainment, Entertainment and Entertainment 😉

The ‘Megadeth’ Graffiti Art

Hi Guys !!

As most of you guys know about The Big Four Bands of Thrash Metal. They have rocked the whole world for 30 years and still running wild. Plus, they are one of my Favorite Bands of all time.

big4stage-975x385

Now since the world might be at its end stage, so I’ve decided to make an Artwork Dedicated to one of those Legends as a Tribute like last week.

Well, This week is strongly dedicated to the Band called Megadeth. This is the band which I’m listening for some years from the day since I went to college. You already know through my previous post that what I used to listen back days when I was a school kid.

After Listening to Metallica a lot, I really got bored. That doesn’t means that I don’t wanna listen to their songs anymore. I wanted some more. I’d even downloaded their Latest album Death Magnetic, but I didn’t worked out very well. It wasn’t like their previous hardcore albums.

Now I really needed something else to listen from someone else. Then, I discovered ‘Megadeth’. This is the band which has some amazing guitar riffs and drums beats. Apart from those, their vocals is also the thing which makes them unique. Moreover, their front man Dave Mustaine used to be in ‘Metallica’, but was later kicked out from the band. And therefore, he formed his own band.

I still remember the moment when I first listened to their songHoly Wars .. The Punishment Due’ from their album ‘Rust in Pieces’. I really got so adrenalined and fascinated with this song as it was really so amazing. That long intro guitar solo was so Amazing. I head-banged a lot during that time. And besides, the lyrics were nice as it indeed tells the reality. In short, the song is Epic. Then I moved to more Megadeth songs like – Symphony of Destruction, Peace Sells .. But Who’s Buying?, A Tout Le Monde, Skin O’ My Teeth, Headcrusher, Public Enemy No. 1 and many more. Now, I am also a Megadeth Fan.A lot of verbal battles I’ve seen throughout the Internet between the fans of Metallica and Megadeth. But since I am unable to judge the best between them, I like both.

Coming back to my artwork. It’s just like what I’ve made previously. The Artwork of logo this legendary band has been drawn with Ball-point pen on an A4 Sheet, along with the names of their famous songs (around 50-60 I guess), written in (my personal favorite) Graffiti Tags.

Take a look on this collaboration fellas.

The ‘Metallica’ Graffiti Art

Hi Guys !!

As most of you guys know about The Big Four Bands of Thrash Metal. They have rocked the whole world for 30 years and still running wild. Plus, they are one of my Favorite Bands of all time.

original

Now since the world might be at its end stage, so I’ve decided to make an Artwork Dedicated to one of those Legends as a Tribute like last week.

Well, This week is strongly dedicated to the Band called Metallica. This is the first band which I’ve followed first when I was around 14. Before that, I’ve hardly known a little bit of rock songs that I’ve either listened on the Radio or watched its Video on MTV or even randomly from a Hollywood Movie or WWE, as the background score. Just few names like – AC/DC, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and Bryan Adams, I was aware of them only. I used to get  some goosebumps those days (and still now sometimes) whenever I’ve listened to such heavy songs.  🙂

But Honestly speaking, I wouldn’t have discovered Metallica myself that time until my friend gave a complete CD pack of their songs. After looking around at my so-called choice in such music, he strongly recommended to listen to it like a True Metal Fan.

I still remember that Summer of year 2005, when I had my first desktop at home and got plenty of PC Games, from my dear friend. And after getting a complete collection of Metallica from my Metalhead friend, I’ve got a good shit to listen. I used to listen Linkin Park a lot, even before I had my PC. But still, I preferred to listen to Metallica more, just because it was so awesome. So Heavy, So Energetic. Simply Amazing. While listening to it, some people around me used to think that it is too Loud, Noisy, Mad, Arrogant, Violent and Anti-social, because Bollywood and Pop songs are the mainstream in India. But I hardly bothered and still I do.

I guess, 2005, it was indeed the year which had brought a change in me. And as soon as I got more versed with my PC and permission for Internet Connection from my Dad later in the year 2007, I’d explored more stuffs like this, which eventually had started changing me a lot in the knowledge of Music (specially Rock, and more precisely Metal) to a level where I am right now.

Well, this is my prolonging passion and addiction for Metallica and for other Rock Bands. Coming back to my artwork. It’s just so simple. The Artwork of logo this legendary band has been drawn with Ball-point pen on an A4 Sheet, along with the names of their famous songs (around 50-60 I guess), written in (my personal favorite) Graffiti Tags.

Take a look on this collaboration fellas.

Heyy guys,  Wassup ?? I’m back.  8)

This past Week the whole India celebrated The 63rd Republic Day, on Thursday 26th January. This is one of the important days for every Indian as this is the day when our Constitution was formed back in 1950. It’s indeed a day to feel proud for your nation and your people as well.

Therefore, in order to give a Tribute to 62 Years of Democracy in India, I’ve decided to make an abstract sketch of one of the influential Freedom Fighter and The Father of Nation : Mahatma Gandhi (or simply call Gandhiji or even Bapu) and what else FUN you wanna get when you get your Big Classroom Board and some Chalks to make a masterpiece.

So, Take a look what I’ve just made for the people, of the people and by the people .

Smart Steps to be Productive

You can’t deny with the fact that we’ve only 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week and 52 weeks in a year, neither less nor more. No matter what you do, you would probably gonna feel that you’ve less enough time to complete the tasks. But still successful people smartly manage their work complete within the given time. Mind the word ‘smart’ Fellas !! 🙂

There are plenty of ways to work more productively and efficiently, suggested by a lot of people throughout the world. The key behind all of these methods is to ‘work in time’. There’s only a need a Time-Management in your Life and you ought to maintain discipline and give some respect for that. Even some anonymous said nice words for Time, “If you gonna respect time, the time gonna respect you for sure”. So True! 😉

Lemme give y’all some tips to work productively and hopefully you keep them as habit.

1. Make A To-Do List

This is the primary method of scheduling your tasks. Simple! Make a ‘Daily To-Do List’ of all your upcoming tasks in an order and maintain discipline. Keep this list handy throughout the day and cross off those tasks which you’ve finished. This would make you productive and some satisfaction that your tasks are going properly.

2. Prioritize Your Tasks

Yet another important method. You should know which tasks are important and you should do them first. Of course, making priorities would help you enough to focus on the things. Just in case you’ve forgotten, you could make a list of all your tasks and give them ratings on the basis of their priorities to be done.

3. Set Deadline For Every Task

I’ve mentioned a quote on respecting the time and I meant that seriously. There’s just something about deadlines that makes you thrive. Set an appropriate deadline and try to finish them sooner, otherwise you’ll start procrastinate the task and further delay would cost you for other tasks waiting in queue. Make a reminder in your Diary or Cell phones, about deadlines, so that you’ll get to know about your tasks’ deadlines.

4. Keep Your Workspace Clean

Not only for cleaning concern, but also for productive cause you must keep your workspace. It often happens we waste couple of time in searching important files, documents and our belongings. Same case happens while working in a computer or laptop. Make your space clean enough such that all our belongings are visible. You could even prioritize among them. Let say, which items should be place above the desk or under the desk.

5. Plan Phone Calls

Some times even calling or taking calls in the middle of something, breaks the momentum and can derail the productive project. Kindly avoid such situations. Set a time zone in which you’re free for a while and make calling habits of those you’re trying to reach. You can’t always be rigid as some important emergency calls might come. Still try your best to reduce to some extent. Even you could notify to your callers to contact when you’re available to talk. And as a good manner, you must return all calls by the end of your task.

6. Set Your Own Working Time Zone

Everyone has different energy cycles and time zones of working. Some are night owls, who could world all night. While others are the morning persons. Even you also have the ability and stamina to work on either the time zones. Analyze your strength on which particular time zone you work most because that’s the time when you’ll be at your best.

7. Take Breaks For A While

It has been proven a lot of times that working continuously for long hours, makes you less productive as your energy deteriorates. Take some break after working for hours, have some food, listen to music, or take a little rest. But take breaks for few minutes, otherwise you’ll lose the momentum and further delay in the assignment.

8. Avoid Website Distractions

In the modern era of Social Networking, we spent a lot of time in tweeting, mailing, blogging or just simply chatting with people. Even if you’ve some important work to do, you get into it. Sometimes, we check our e-mail a lot of time in a day. The reason is that we get addicted to it. These are the distractions and seriously a waste of time. Avoid them. Reduce your time span in website. Check your emails once or twice a day. You could even set bookmarks in case you’re visiting some important websites very often, rather finding them again and again.

There are plenty of other tips being discussed in the web. But the main aim is getting more productive and working efficiently in limited time. They would take some time to be a regular habit and it’s always work in progress. The good news is if you start focus on applying new tools and techniques in your life. Hopefully, you’ll be succeeded.

The ‘B-ves’ of My Life (Day 8 Of Truth)

The following Post is for accomplishing Creative Challenge called 30 Days of Truth, given by Kellie Elmore. It is a unique exercise in self exploration and learning to be honest with yourself… and that ultimately leads to happiness.

30 Days of Truth

*****************************************************************************************

In the World of Ying-Yang, if you have some odds in favor then definitely there would be some odds against you as well. Taking an example of Blood Groups, an A never matches with a B. And there’s the same kind of situation with my Life as well. Myself (A) never, ever gonna deal with them (B’s). Since my Blood Group is ‘A positive’ (A+ve), so I call them ‘B negatives’ (B-ve).

Totally Opposite!! 😛

Confused? I think you would be. But the following types of people with whom I’ve met so far, have made my Life annoying and miserable enough to categorize them like this.

1. BULLIES with Power

That’s an obvious nightmare for the Good Boys when they have to encounter these Chauvinist Bad Boys, mostly in School days. My Childhood was Simple, Peaceful, Study-Focused and away from Fist Fights. It’s a good thing for your teachers and parents, but not for the Bullies. They just hate you for no reasons. I have been imitated by them a lot. Even sometimes I was humiliated as well in Class by them. It’s not so easy to fight back for your own dignity at that time. First of all, they all come together to tease you and so, you’re all alone. Secondly, they’ll take you down easily even if you try to fight back, as they are stronger than you. That’s why they are Bullies, obsessed with Power and Strength. And lastly, you always remember the morals that your teachers and parents taught. Nobody wants to get their hands dirty.

I’ve lost a lot of times. But when the threshold of tolerance and patience gets over the limit, I’ve settled the score in a duel, for which I regretted a lot afterward as I never wanted to be like them. But sometimes, you have to do for getting your respect back.

Anyways, now when I look them after 5-6 years, they don’t seem like what they used to appear when I was kid. Not Bullies anymore, but not even my Friends. 😛

However, Bullies keep changing, but they will always come in your Life. Some of my College Seniors are just like them. Sometimes, they just keep trying to tease me on my appearances. But I don’t mess with them as I’m now matured and experienced of tolerating this thing. This Seniority SHIT would even be present during my Job days as well.

2. BORES without Life

Some people really need to have a Life as they stalk on others’ Life for every GOD DAMN moment. It’s kinda trespassing someone’s privacy. The same things have been experienced by me. I’ve encountered a lot of people who either kept asking questions about me and my Life or started giving me useless suggestions as if they know me well. I’m not saying that, they don’t have right to advice me, but please stop giving useless advices when they even don’t know the circumstances of my situations. It’s intolerable and irritating.

However, I have few good friends to whom I’ve told almost about myself, my ambitions and even shared some of my grieves. But don’t and never discuss with many as people hardly understand you. They would get sympathize at that time, but in the end they all forget and treat you like normal. Even I don’t need any sympathy and publicity for myself. As I’d rather get treated equally than being hurt.

Plus, some people keep on criticizing me for being a Facebook alcoholic. They think I’m wasting my Time on there. But the fact they don’t know that though I’m kinda introvert in reality, but highly extrovert in Social Networking Sites. I mean, who doesn’t? People would like to get rid of their boring life and have fun in Facebook. Even I like to interact with my Net Friends and so, I have a Social Life.

But still these morons presume such shitty perceptions that used to piss me off. However, now I really don’t care as they keep boring me with those same ole responses.

3. BASTARDS with Ego

Now-a-days, everybody has its own Ego. And the moment gets when the Ego clashes out of nowhere. Personally, I can’t stand with such people who have a lot of ego and pride for their own so-called specialty. It’s good that they have such specialty in themselves, but that doesn’t means that they have right to flaunt everywhere especially to them who don’t have any. Still I bear their rants most of times. But when the breaking point of my patience and tolerance has reaches, I bashed in a battle for the sake of my dignity and respect.

They just tried to take me down, proving me wrong as well and therefore, proving that they are the best while I’m wrong. Bastards! 😛

4. BITCHES with Everything!

These days, people are so multi-tasking. Seriously man! I won’t be able to find out how they all do that. But since some of them get just because though comforts and being fortunate, I sometimes get jealous with them.

I’m a college guy and I’ve seen plenty of guys around me who are phenomenal apart from their academic scores. Obviously, they are exceptional and fortunate to get the success soon. It’s their headache to mingle with various tasks, which they do remarkably well.

Overall, I still respect these ‘Supernaturals’ as token of inspiration. But Honestly, I’m not like them. Since I’ve got a BIG competition in my college, I’ve been defeated a lot and I admit it though I gave my 100%. But my point of view would be considered as Lame Excuses as My people don’t understand me at all. They’ll still compare their (the multi-task performers’) triumphs with my failures and even expect me to like them. That really makes me SICK as in spite of getting some support and a little appreciation of my efforts, I get taunts of not being extra-ordinary.

I’m not like them and never want to be like them. If I’m trying to pretend to be like them, then I’ll definitely lose my own identity. Plus, the thing I believe, as someone told me once that “If you’re trying everything, then you would not be Master of Anything. But if you’re trying something, then you’re definitely the Master of that Thing.” I still makes me amazed why people do 10 things even if they know they hardly 1-2 would be useful in their future.  Most of my College Toppers and even some of my Tech-minded Seniors would still try to think for MBA. Even in the vast Technical Lines, people would mug 10-20 different topics like nuts. Maybe just to prove the world that they are super-intelligent and smart.

Actually, this is where our Education System lacks. We are taught 10-20 different topics and sometimes even useless subjects out of our interests. Plus, you get a crappy out of the format Question Papers in the Examinations, which would make you mad. Of course, the Engineering Life in College gonna SUCK !! Those Hard-ass Supernatural bitches would mug up and achieve higher grades in Examinations. And Dumb-asses like me, having interests on certain topics would be screwed and be ranted with humiliation for whole Life. And therefore with or without any intentions, they have made my Life miserable.

Sometimes I get so depressed from such dilemma for a long time. But still I wake up in the morning in an optimistic  hope that things would be change. But Changes never come on their own, they are being brought. If these B-ves of my Life quit annoying the A+ves like me, then we’ll definitely gonna have a better place to Live. Hopefully, that day comes sooner. 🙂

The Unlikely and Unwanted Experience

I left my PC completely idle, though my Facebook Account was logged in. I was having my Dinner and watching my favorite TV Show. Suddenly, my felt something unusual (which actually was THE MIGHTY EARTHQUAKE), but I ignored it as if it might be my Mobile vibrating vigorously.

But later on, my Sister rang me up. She seemed to be so worried as she immediately asked me, whether I was OKAY and FINE !! Well that time, I was like, Why are you asking so ?? Apart from Morning blasts, what else worse gonna happen in Delhi now and most importantly to me ?? She told me to watch the NEWS asap. Giving an affirmative to her order, I just switched to a Random News Channel and just saw the news which even made me worried as well. We’ve been attacked by an Earthquake. Though it had an impact of 6.6 Richter Scale, but it hardly lasted for 4-5 seconds without any mass destruction. Simple tremors, but still very effective to be terrified at the moment.

Hearing this News, I ran to a safer place, bit away from my House. After waiting outside for 10-15 minutes, I came back home, completed my Dinner, bumped into my Computer Desk once again, and therefore, writing a Status Update in Facebook about this anticipating experience. 😦

But fellas, It seemed like I was not the only one around there posting on the same thing. 😛

My Facebook Friends' Status Update on Today's Delhi Earthquake

I guess, we People won’t be having a LIFE without FACEBOOK even if we might be in DANGER any time. As a matter of Fact, we’ve just felt a 6.6 Richter Scale EARTHQUAKE in Delhi, again the place where we’ve already witnessed a Bomb Blast in Delhi High Court this past morning. But we people, rather saving ourselves from this inevitable natural disaster.,we would still be Busy in our Social-Networking Lives. Now, that’s the heights of Facebook Addiction. 😦

Anyways, I thought of studying late night, for my upcoming College Mid Semester Exams. But Now, I’m really feeling Insomniac and even remain more ALERT just in case. Just having a Cup of Coffee and Listening Soft Music in the meantime to make my mind feel good.

Hopefully, any day like Today, never be so miserable. 🙂

The Making of a Mascot

Well Guys !!

This Time I’ve brought not only something NEW, but also Something BIG for y’all. I alongwith my College NSIT Fine Arts Team, had made an Official Mascot for our College’s Technical Fest : Innovision 2011 few months ago. But this time we’ve decided to make something BIG such that everyone gets to witness how much BIG a MASCOT could be.

Well, Our Senior In-charge of Fine Arts Team, Sraisth Sunny was the guy behind all of this. He just came with a concept of creating a Big Mascot for displaying the visitors at our Fest. He draw a simple rough sketch of mascot giving us an idea and even asked us some changes. Me and my Year-mates, Arjun Paul and Kavyaraj Naik, have been given responsibility on its making.

After having a look on it, first of all we had to think not only the expected size of Mascot but also about the background colour and the type of Sheet to be used. I’ve seen the technique of Merging Small Sheets into a Large Sheet for making Large Backdrops, for our Cultural Fest : Moksha. That experience really helped us out. After predicting the Mascot Size, we merged 3 full-sized A2 Violet Cartridge Sheets, which crossed to a length around 6 Feet (almost my height :P).

Now it was time to begin with the sketch work. Personally speaking I had a hard time on making that DAMN sketch. As I never made such a Big Sketch on Sheet, It tool me approximately 6 Hours in sketching, alongwith Erasing the Errors and Molding them with Perfection. A Great thanks to my Junior, Gyan Ranjan ,who did a Fantastic job in suggesting me and even re-sketching my errors. He’s indeed a Phenomenal Sketcher.

Well, unfortunately y’all might be unable to see the exact sketching of our Mascot clearly. My Bad photography. 😛 Anyways after finalizing the sketch from Sraisth Sir, its time to apply some colour on our Work. We were still on doubt on the Color Combination of The Mascot as most of the Fine Arts Boys Team was good in Sketching but not in Coloring. 😛 Still we managed somehow and completed the Coloring Work in 2 Hours. And after 8 Hours of Complete Hard Work, the Mascot finally has been made. It’s truly looking like Iron Man, but an Indian Avatar. Take a Look. 😉

Even the Graffiti Board on which this Work has to be pasted, was covered with the same Violet Cartridge Sheet. The Mascot was Pasted on that 10 Foot Long Board. And Gyan did a fabulous job, in painting The Name of our Fest : Innovision (with slogans below) and The The Name of its Mascot : Innyoto (A Wacky Japanese name:P). An ultimately, We’ve got a Complete Poster.

I really thank to my Grand Fine Arts Team, who made this possible. Also a Great Thanks to those people, who saw this piece of Hard Work of ours and appreciated damn well. 🙂

My First Resume

As we grow up with body, mind and soul, we have to handle plenty of responsibilities in form of family, job or passion. We are expected to be matured enough to take right decisions at right time.

Now even since I’m growing up (Yup !! Getting almost 20 .. Not a Teen anymore :P) , so It’s time to start behaving like an adult, working more harder to get success and running for Internships or Jobs whenever you get it etc. etc. And for getting things started, you ought to know How To Write a Nice Resume for applying the above.

Well writing a Resume, sounds kinda easy task but it ain’t so easy. You’ve to think twice, thrice and even many times you can while writing a Resume for applying an Internship or a Job, as that piece of paper reflects you and your personality totally. You might BRAG big thing about you and your achievement among your friends in Facebook or Twitter. But not in case of writing a Resume. You’ve to be true with yourself and even with those who would be reading your Resume. If anything FAKE they suspect, they would catch up from you easily.

Hmm… Certain tips and thoughts were used to be given in my English Classes in School, while writing a Resume for joining any firm. I’ve practiced a lot those days in it. However, Writing Resumes for someone has kinda different experience in writing so for your own Job. You know about yourself more than anyone else. You know your level of knowledge, skills, potential. You can write but still, you get confused on what to write and what not to write in Resume. Neither you can’t write too much unnecessarily, nor too less and BORING. And, Not even write any FAKE BULLSHIT about yourself. 😛

Well taking that thing into consideration, I was quite nervous while writing a Resume of mine for applying Summer Internships this year. I’ve just recommended many websites like – How To Write a Resume.org  and other Helpful Sites, giving certain Tips and Tricks on writing a Resume on any particular field and demonstrated with some examples. Even I consulted some of mine college-mates and my family friends for helping me out.

Well, after a very long exploration and recommendations, I’ve made a short single-page Resume for applying an Internship this Summer, including some personal details like – Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender and Residence and alongwith some of mine Educational Qualifications in School and now in College so far. Though it was looking simple without any exceptional achievement to share, but I still loved my very First Resume a lot as I reflects my originality. 8)

Hopefully, I get my First Internship soon, through my First Resume. 🙂
Otherwise, Better Luck Next Time !! 😛 Keep Writing Hard !!  😀

Fun & Excitement (Day 1 at INNO 2010 )

Well, Our College has its Annual Inter-College Technical Fest, called “Innovision” or simply say “Inno”. It is generally being held during the fall of January. It has many fascinating Technical Contests to watch like- C/Java Programming Contest, Quiz Shows, Robo Wars, Line-Detector Machine Race, 3-D Screening, LAN Gaming and many more. Even also some exciting adventurous elements like- Raffling, River Rafting, Parasailing, Go Karting etc. It’s a 3-Day Fest and a way to get rid from your Semester Pressure for a while.

Since, I’ve heard a lot about its Importance in Technical Line during my Orientation form Teachers and even about its Fun & Excitement from many Seniors. So after listening something so much so far, I was very very excited about that and eager to be a part of it as Twas my 1st “Innovision” and eventually, I don’t wanted to miss it. Not at all !!!

After so much waiting for its arrival, “Inno – 2010” has come back to NSIT. At the very 1st day, I’ve got to see so many Technical Related stuffs from various guys representing different colleges, which impressed us a lot and an inspiration to learn.

However, just for a while though, It made me sometimes to feel like its bit my unfortunate that I am unable to participate as I’m kinda n00b in front of those extreme guys of this yard. Still, watching those PROs with their amazing skills even was also a great Experience, which brushed away my Grief for that moment. I also saw the “The Defence Expo”, where I have got to see many modern weapons and equipments which are currently being used by The Indian Army. We played with them holding Guns and Rifles for a while. It seemed like that Counter-Strike went Real.  Even at that time, I just day-dreaming, though it was about 6 evening, of being a Fearless Soldier (typical DABANGG i must say :P) and whip some Candy asses of Terrorists with such lethal weapons in your hands. 😛

But the main event was incomparable in front of them, when we got to see “The Laser Show” in the evening. Ohh man!! It was very delightful to watch that you might miss something if you blinked your eyes for a while. Unfortunately, I was unable to shoot its video as my Mobile Battery was low due to shooting some other Photos and Videos. 😛

Still, whatever I’ve seen from my eyes was Simply Amazing. 8)

Would like to tell you about the other days. Cya till then. 😉

Journeying For Dreams

Sometimes in the lateness of night’s cover,
don’t you wonder at everything
how life seems to be made up of
a series of ups and downs…
always keeping us at our toes’ end.

No rest, just continuous slogging on
the path is long and winded
there are rivers and mountains
as wide as huge as the imagination can weave.

Those are the obstacles waiting to meet us
waiting to bring us down
down I may go
but up I will rise again
with wit and determination
to reach my destination.

The motions are set into work once again
who knows how it all will turn out?
pray may I be blessed
with good luck and good fortune
that I may surpass myself someday
that I may look back and say
it’s been a good journey.
