Satisfy the Hunger of Success
In the waves of life
When one has to strive
Everywhere thorns are scattered
Neither a chance to escape
Nor even chance to turn back
Like a Coward
When walls of relationship and patience get the cracks
Foe approaches along with a sword
Symbolizing the death
One even forgets his breath
When situation becomes more critical
Webs of sorrow trap
Unable to take a short nap
Makes to feel like crap
No time a Relax
But.. !
One who closes his eyes to struggle
With a sole judgment of right & turn
To dreams of success
One who determines
Definitely gets the illumination of divine
And one very day
The sun will rise
When he’ll open his eyes
Will find himself
On the peak of success
To touch the sky
Who succeeded to
Satisfy hunger
Which even also tastes good

A very optimistic poem, always good to be reminded that things will turn out for the better eventually. The words had an almost rap like lyricality to them. One problem, the white words and the background don’t mix, the contrast isn’t strong enough, I found it a bit hard to read. Brilliant poem.

The hard work and perseverance as one strives to achieve one’s goals is often a hard pill to swallow; oh, but the taste of success is sweet indeed, Staccato, but also lyrical in style, I like the flow of this.

Yes, they are – but the thorns help us appreciate the beauty of our accomplishments when we work through, around, under or over the obstacles in our path … also the lessons we learn are invaluable for the marathon! Nicely done!
